Reliability Concepts Unveils New Belt Alignment Tool

Reliability Concepts recently introduced a new green laser system to make belt alignments faster, easier and more accurate. The B.A.T. belt alignment tool utilizes cross-firing green lasers and Glowline target technology to help take belt alignment to a new level of precision and repeatability.

"The B.A.T. Belt Alignment Tool has made belt alignment more reliable, since our patent-pending cross-firing technology eliminates the error introduced from single-laser belt alignment systems," said Michael Olszewski, president of Reliability Concepts. "Users will have two independent belt alignment systems or can choose to use them together for our cross-firing method of belt alignment."

Available in three configurations and fully upgradeable, the B.A.T. Belt Alignment Tool is able to perform simple flatness measurements by using the bull’s-eye level and targets. The tool can also detect defects, as it is virtually impossible to line up both lasers on the Glowline targets if the pulley or shaft is bent, if the shaft is worn or if other defects exist such as a broken, worn or poorly installed taper-locking device.
