Toyota worldwide vehicle production in November declined 7.8% vs. 2009 levels

Toyota Material Handling

Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) on December 24 announced its production, domestic sales and export results, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Company Ltd. and Hino Motors Ltd., for November 2010.

  • Minivehicle sales totaled approximately 40,300 units (20.1% decrease)
  • 33.5% share of minivehicle market (1.8% decrease)


Hino

  • Decrease
  • Standard-truck sales totaled approximately 1,400 units (18.3% decrease)
  • 38.0% share of the truck* market (3.9% increase)


Toyota + Daihatsu + Hino

  • Decrease
  • 43.9% share of market including minivehicles (3.3% decrease); first decrease in two months

Daihatsu: Thirteenth consecutive month of increase, due to increased production in Indonesia and other regions
