Toyota's global recall tally exceeds company's 2009 sales

The number of automobiles subject to recalls by Toyota Motor Corporation because of problems with gas pedals or floor mats reached more than seven million worldwide, topping its global sales last year, as pull-outs spilled over to Europe on January 29 from North America and China.
