Augmenting its well-rounded team of root cause analysis experts, Apollo Associated Services has added power industry veteran John Stiller as director of industrial services.

Most recently with Ameren Corporation, Stiller brings more than 26 years of experience in electric power generation as a licensed Professional Engineer. Known within the power generation industry as a leader in corrective action – including highly effective RCA program implementation – Stiller handled engineering issues related to turbine generators, fossil boilers and total systems.

He also oversaw major project management and computerized maintenance management systems, as well as business process modeling, improvement and automation. Within Ameren, Stiller launched and consistently improved an overall root cause analysis program as a certified Apollo RCA instructor. Stiller has a bachelors of science degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.

“Because Apollo is the chosen RCA provider of many leading industrial clients, including in power generation, Stiller’s industry-side experience will be invaluable in helping our team better understand the issues and needs from our clients’ perspective,” said Apollo president Chris Eckert, who himself is a PE with extensive industry-side experience inside Dow Chemical and Rohm Haas. “Stiller helps round out a team that offers clients a firm understanding of many industries such as aerospace and aviation; chemicals, gases and refining; manufacturing; mining; medical devices; construction; and technology.”
