Honda tells Alabama workers union is not necessary

Honda told its Alabama employees this week that a successful union organizing campaign "would radically change" the automaker's operations in Lincoln, Ala.

 

It's the first time the company has spoken out against the United Auto Workers' effort at the $1.4 billion factory that employs 4,500 workers. The UAW launched a campaign targeting Honda in Alabama last month.
