Harley-Davidson selects SAP

SAP AG announced that Harley-Davidson Inc. has selected SAP's automotive industry solution to become the standard business platform across Harley-Davidson's global organization. Beginning with the replacement of its current financial applications, the company will take steps to increase visibility and operational efficiency through industry-based, globally standardized business process software solutions.

Harley-Davidson, headquartered in Milwaukee, joins a growing list of manufacturing companies selecting SAP solutions to bring performance excellence to global operations. Following the initial implementation of SAP's financial solution, Harley-Davidson anticipates the rollout of additional components of SAP's ERP, CRM and SCM solutions. The implementation of SAP for Automotive enables customers' real-time visibility into a company's financials, supply chain and supplier network on a global scale.
