MRO Software, an IBM company, on February 28 launched a free Web site that aims to be the Web’s most comprehensive resource on the business and best practices of enterprise asset management (EAM).

The new EAM Resource Center site (eam.mro.com) offers visitors a center of best practices, technical issues and thought leadership that is important to EAM professionals. Information topics provided by the EAM Resource Center include asset management, work management, service management, and the convergence of information technology and operational technology (IT and OT).

The site combines searchable static content like white papers, articles, analyst reports and brochures with helpful Web links with interactive content such as discussion forums, surveys, Webcasts, and RSS feeds and blogs from third-party content providers. The site is clean and simple to navigate, with content organized by industry, business need and buying question, and by type.

The company's solution suite, Maximo, is delivered on a Web-architected platform and increases productivity, optimizes asset performance and service levels, reduces costs and enables asset-related sourcing and procurement across the entire spectrum of strategic assets.
