Global performance improvement solutions provider General Physics Corporation (GP), a subsidiary of GP Strategies Corporation, was awarded a contract with The Boeing Company to provide technical support services for Boeing’s Delta II and Delta IV programs. The contract consists of a base year and three one-year option periods. If funding is approved and all option years are exercised, the contract ceiling will be approximately $3.8 million.
Delta II rockets can be configured into two- or three-stage vehicles to accommodate a variety of mission requirements. Delta IV is the most advanced family of rockets being developed by The Boeing Company in partnership with the U.S. Air Force.
GP will support the programs by providing technical support services, assessing the Mechanical Integrity of ground support systems, developing a long-term in-service inspection program, conducting maintenance and operations activities improvements, and designing modifications to a variety of facilities and launch pad systems.
