Milwaukee Electric Tool names Richman its president

Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation announced the appointment of Steven P. Richman as president.

Pudwill, chairman and CEO of TTI.

Richman will be responsible for all facets of the business as it relates to the Milwaukee brand and its leadership role in manufacturing and marketing professional and industrial heavy-duty portable corded and cordless power tools, pneumatic tools, accessories and safety equipment. He will report directly to Horst Pudwill and will be based at Milwaukee’s headquarters in Brookfield, Wis.

Richman has held a number of top-level management positions in the hardware and power tool industry. Most recently, he was president and CEO of Werner Company from 2005 to present. Previously, he served as president and general manager for Skil and Bosch Power Tools from 2001 to 2005, and vice president of sales and marketing at Skil and Bosch from 1998 to 2001. He served as VP of sales and marketing at Murray Inc. from 1994 to 1998. Richman started his career in 1982 at Black & Decker in sales and progressively moved up to group product manager before becoming director of marketing and advertising for Siemens Solar in 1988.
