Innovation and Insight Shine at Reliable Plant 2024 in Schaumburg

Vendors, speakers, subject matter experts, and the industry's most curious and eager practitioners from all over the world gathered at the 26th Annual Reliable Plant and Machinery Lubrication Conference in the first week of June.
 

Schaumburg, IL was the epicenter for everything Reliability and Machinery Lubrication. According to a post-conference survey, 90% of attendees found a product or service they plan to purchase. Nearly 90% saw value in bringing their leaders to the conference. Plus, most of the exhibitors have already committed to returning to the conference in 2025!

The annual conference kicked off Monday, June 3 and concluded Thursday, June 6, at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel. This year's event, aptly titled "Raise Your Game," set the standard as the place-to-be for stakeholders in this industry with over 40 sessions and workshops, panels, two on-site trainings, exciting social events, and experience-driven elements. Day One: Monday, June 3, 2024

A morning of workshops rang in conference week! But first, check-in.

 

 

Monday alone featured over 20 workshops! Our speakers set the stage by blending storytelling with expertise, making it easier for attendees to connect with real-world scenarios. It was an incredible day of learning and engagement.

Day Two: Tuesday, June 4, 2024

Noria Corporation rang in the 26th annual Reliable Plant and Machinery Lubrication conference with a memorable opening ceremony. Bennett Fitch, Noria’s President, and Wes Cash, Noria’s VP of Services gave opening addresses, welcoming familiar faces and new attendees. For the first time ever, Noria introduced Larry the Lube Tech on the Reliable Plant Stage! He quickly became a crowd favorite, often posing for selfies and group photos.

Wes Cash also presented an award to Nutrien for winning Lube Room Challenge Competition sponsored by OilSafe. Nutrien accepted the championship belt and received a brand-new filter card from OilSafe.

 

The exhibitors finalized their booths and wares Tuesday morning ready to greet and engage with attendees after the Opening Ceremony.

Tuesday was also the start of Machinery Lubrication I, a three-day training led by Paul Farless and Jerry Putt.

 

Noria’s, Jim Fitch, Bennett Fitch, and Wes Cash co-taught Oil Analysis Report Interpretation, a two-day course focusing on getting more value from reports.

Tara Holwegner, Life Cycle Engineering spoke about “The Human Capital Vertex: A Workforce Development Plan Key to Your Asset Management Strategy”

Moving into Tuesday evening…

 

Food, prizes, instruction from a golf pro (Jack Wilband) and lots of shop talk. A little bit of rain made for a cool evening.

 

Attendees also loaded a shuttle bus for a tour of Bureau Veritas | Oil Conditioning Monitoring Lab!

Day Three: Wednesday, June 5, 2024

Attendees began their day with more sessions including….

Jason Smith’s, ABS Group, “Gaining Traction Up & Down the Ladder”

 

Later that evening, attendees cashed in tickets for chips and hit the game tables at Casino Night – a fan favorite!

 

Guests also stepped into the 360-degree camera for some extra special photos and videos for a memorable night!

 

 

Day Four: Thursday, June 6, 2024

Attendees made their way into the last sessions.

We heard from Fabio Brand, Gerdau, on the “Integration of Lubrication and Condition-based Maintenance Processes for Assets in Heavy Industry”

and

Gary Tyne of Pro-Reliability Solutions, “Root Cause Analysis and Your Lubrication Program: What is the Connection?”

 

For the last time, attendees gathered around the Reliability Stage for the Closing Ceremony.

The Noria team drew dozens of names for prize giveaways.

In closing remarks, abc…. announced the return of the Reliable Plant and Machinery Lubrication Conference to Schaumburg, IL, June 2 – 5, 2025.
