The Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP), in conjunction with its 17th annual conference in St. Louis, will be offering a free career fair for all unemployed maintenance and reliability professionals seeking a new position.
SMRP is a premiere industry association for the maintenance and reliability field and has certified more than 3,500 maintenance and reliability professionals globally through the Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification program. The organization also provides influence over the course of standards development as they affect the maintenance and reliability community through their mission to develop international standards for maintenance and reliability.
With more than 1,000 anticipated registered attendees and more than 50 exhibitors for the conference, the career fair is expected to draw a large crowd of both companies looking to hire and job seekers looking for the next step in their career.
“We’re excited to provide this opportunity for both the maintenance and reliability community and as a value add to our SMRP members,” said Nick Roberts, CMRP, chair of the 2009 Conference. “With new additions such as the one-on-one consulting sessions, the job fair and twice as many in-depth workshops than ever before, I have no doubt this will be the most comprehensive conference we have ever offered.”
SMRP is offering free job fair attendance for any unemployed maintenance and reliability professional interested in finding their next role. The event will be held Wednesday, October 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Millennium Hotel St. Louis and will feature companies looking to hire individuals for positions in varying industries across the United States.
