The American Society for Quality (ASQ) welcomes three new Enterprise members. Caterpillar Inc., Honeywell International and Baxter International Inc. now have greater access to solutions that help organizations maximize revenue and customer satisfaction by sharing the vision, tools, services and body of knowledge that ASQ membership provides.
By becoming an Enterprise member, all companies’ locations around the world automatically become members of ASQ. All employees now have access to quality tools that allow an organization to realize greater productivity and performance; create uniformity of skill sets and drive team participation; apply process improvement techniques more widely; encourage continuous innovation; use quality as a business management tool; and reduce training and certification costs.
“ASQ is absolutely thrilled to have these three notable manufacturers join the growing list of other organizations in our quality community,” said Paul Borawski, executive director and chief strategic officer of ASQ. “With an ASQ membership, employees within Caterpillar, Honeywell and Baxter are exposed to other organizations that have lessons they are willing to share. ASQ is very pleased we are able to provide them with a network of peers, quality concepts, tools and knowledge to help move their companies forward.”
The new members join other ASQ Enterprise members including Abbott Labs, Bell Helicopter, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Boeing, Cummins, Hewlett-Packard and Sun Microsystems.
