Expand your manufacturing knowledge with METV

Society of Manufacturing Engineers

Manufacturing practitioners who are bored with TV reruns and inane reality shows can instead turn to award-winning video programs to develop industry and technological insights. METV — Manufacturing Engineering magazine's Web streaming video channel — now Webcasts two complete video programs online each month for free and on demand.

Since METV’s debut in October 2006, thousands of viewers have viewed the videos that examine various manufacturing processes. Many viewers use METV as an opportunity to preview and evaluate the Fundamentals of Manufacturing Processes videos from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers prior to purchasing them.

“Our members and other manufacturing professionals responded so positively to METV, we are now offering two Webcasts a month,” said Mark C. Tomlinson, CMfgT, CEM, executive director and general manager. “METV is just another way SME is advancing manufacturing knowledge.”

Each month’s METV offerings correspond with the topics covered in Manufacturing Engineering magazine and can be viewed at www.manufacturingengineering.tv.
