This six-minute video shows in detail the processes involved in making a pair of shoes from the "clicking" or cutting of the leather components, through the "closing" or stitching and glueing of the various components to make the uppers then "lasting" and "PU (polyurethane) molding of the sole to make the final products. Unlike many fully automatic manufacturing processes, shoe making is still very labor intensive and involves a great many manual steps.
