Georgia Iron Works picks ATS to improve maintenance

Georgia Iron Works Industries has recently partnered with Advanced Technology Services Inc. (ATS) to help its plant in Grovetown, Ga., run better through the managed services of production asset maintenance.


ATS is an industry leader in managed production equipment maintenance and IT solutions. The ATS process of production asset optimization will help GIW compete more cost effectively in a highly competitive global economy.

In tough economic times when manufactures are looking for innovative ways to increase cost savings and efficiency, outsourcing production maintenance can make a significant difference. In fact, in a recent study with Neilson Research, manufacturers agreed that outsourcing maintenance could provide real value in a down economy.
