Apple Computer Inc. paid chief executive officer Steve Jobs $1 in salary and no bonus last year.
Jobs, 51, has been paid the $1 salary since returning to the computer maker in 1997.
The company had a 68 percent jump in sales to $13.9 billion last year and net income topped $1 billion for the first time since it was co-founded by Jobs in 1976.
Don't weep for Jobs, however. He has a personal fortune estimated at $4.4 billion, according to Forbes magazine's annual survey of the world's richest people.
