RP news wires, Noria Corporation

UE Systems announced the recent launch of their new micro-site for specialized technical information. “Sound Advice” has been developed to offer technical support and resources to plant managers and maintenance personnel. It includes easy access to information on such topics as energy conservation and condition monitoring. Technical information on this site includes inspection tips, charts and graphs, articles, Webinars and links to other technical sites.

Sound Advice is dedicated to various applications such as mechanical, electric and leak detection.

Sound Advice provides expert opinions from the industries best and brightest. Each quarter a new focus or topic of interest that is specific to an application will be posted on the Sound Advice website. There is also a brief topic summary that supplies readers with problem area statistics such as the annual dollars lost due to compressed air leaks or the progressive damages that can happen when failure occurs.

Currently two programs are accessible, “Essential Compressed Air Maintenance” and “Ultrasound Condition Monitoring- Bearings, Gears, Lubrication and More”.  There is also an archived Webinar on ultrasound bearing monitoring, which originally broadcast on September 19, providing essential insight into ultrasound bearing monitoring. Additional Webinar events (both live and archived) will be available soon for such topics as Mechanical Inspection and Compressed Air. These programs are designed with the general user in mind and are extremely easy to find and absorb valuable information.

Other UE Sound Advice topics scheduled to launch over the upcoming months include, testing valves and steam traps, assessment of electrical discharges such as corona, tracking and arcing, and mechanical operations inspection.

Topic programs can be accessed by visiting the Sound Advice Website: www.UESoundAdvice.com. Easy to navigate, this Web site is a valuable resource to everyone in the predictive maintenance field that is looking for in-depth information related to a condition monitoring or energy issue.
