Pacific Fuel Cell announces production milestone

Pacific Fuel Cell Corporation on April 9 announced the first shipment of Bipolar plates from its new manufacturing facility in Willoughby, Ohio. Pacific Fuel Cell is a nanotechnology company committed to producing fuel cell components with reduced cost and higher performance in the portable, stationary and micro fuel cell market, utilizing nanotechnology.

Dan McCluskey, vice president of sales and marketing/business development, said, I am extremely pleased with the rate at which we have brought our Bipolar plate production up to speed. We are currently shipping product to seven customers, which will continue on a repeat basis. Our customer base continues to grow and we are in discussions with several of them for multi-year contracts. We are also very pleased with the growth of our order book, which confirms our ability to timely deliver high quality products at a competitive price. I am very excited about the future of this company.

Company president George Suzuki stated, I am very pleased with the progress of our bipolar plate production, which is using our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment for molding and machining plates of superior materials.
