Stopol to host auction of Clarion's Ames, Iowa, plant

Stopol Auctions LLC, a leader in hosting and managing plastics industry auctions, will host and Webcast an auction April 4 to sell plastics manufacturing equipment from discontinuing injection molding operations at Clarion Technologies Inc.s Ames, Iowa, plant.

Stopol Auctions will conduct a live auction at 9:05 a.m. (CDT) April 4 at Clarion Technologies Ames facility and air the event on www.stopol.coms Webcast portal so that bidders from all over the world can participate in the event using their PCs. Stopol Auctions will hold a preview at the plant April 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (CDT). Interested bidders also may contact Stopol Auctions to arrange for a private inspection.

The Clarion Technologies auction will feature a number of injection molding machines from some of the top brands in plastics processing, including Cincinnati Milacron and JSW. The event also will feature a variety of auxiliary equipment, several fork trucks, robots and an array of tools, accessories and office equipment. Clarion Technologies is closing two plants Ames and Caledonia, Mich. to streamline its operations. Both facilities primarily were involved in manufacturing major home appliances, automotive components and some consumer products.
