How do
The survey asks thousands of employers to help BLR send a questionnaire to their workers, asking about workplace communication, supervision, teamwork and chances for advancement. Experts have long linked these issues to employee morale and retention, major factors in business success.
The survey is free, and asks minimal effort from employers. In return, every participating employer will receive a free, custom-written, confidential report on their own workers’ attitudes, and how they compare to those at like companies nationwide. BLR has run similar surveys on compensation and benefits for 25 years.
BLR CEO Bob Brady highlighted the importance of comparing results with other companies.
“Employers can finally benchmark their results against others, something most haven’t been able to do, and find out if problems are theirs alone or larger than that,” he said. “And because the survey is free, even smaller organizations can learn their employees’ attitudes, perhaps for the first time.”
He added that the survey had been designed for minimal effort by employers.
“They sign up, e-mail a link to employees that accesses the 15-minute questionnaire, and the next thing they see is their report,” he said.
Employers wishing more information, or who wish to sign up, may do so at http://hrdailyadvisor.blr.com/NEAS. They may join anytime, but those wishing to be included in the first wave of results should register by Friday, April 20.
