Hydrite Chemical to expand plant in Milwaukee

Hydrite Chemical Company plans to add 50,000 square feet to its 100,000-square-foot facility in Milwaukee, according to published reports.

Hydrite also plans to build a distribution center, with roughly 60,000 to 70,000 square feet, east of its production facility. The plant expansion is to begin in 2008.

Hydrite, with more than 500 employees, also has facilities in the Wisconsin cities of Cottage Grove, La Crosse, Oshkosh and Wausau, as well as in Lake Zurich, Ill.; University Park, Ill.; Waterloo, Iowa; and Terre Haute, Ind.
