Analysis: How Ford Motor Company lost $24K a minute

Ford Motor Company reported the largest annual loss in company history on January 25. The automaker also posted a fourth-quarter loss that was worse than expectations and warned of worse showings ahead.

The bottom line was a $12.7 billion loss for 2006. That equates to a little more than $24,000 a minute throughout the course of the year.
