“Lee’s extensive knowledge and expertise in business, policy and trade is an indisputable asset to our NAM board and the southeast region,” said NAM president John Engler. “I look forward to working with him in the new Congress and to help ensure America’s manufacturing strength for years to come.”
In addition to serving on the NAM board, Sytslinger is the third-generation chairman and CEO of his family-founded business and was recently nominated by President Bush to serve on the President’s Export Council.
Styslinger’s two-year appointment became effective January 2007. The NAM Southeast Region covers the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
