Until being acquired, Jackson Machinery was an exclusive dealer of Mori Seiki products and sub-dealer to Mori Mid-America Sales, distributing Mori Hi-Tech machines. Along with that product line, it also represented United Grinding, SNK, and Hanwha (Swiss turning lathes). All of which are expected to become part of the new Ellison Technologies -
Seyler said the acquisition would build on the momentum generated when Mori Seiki named Ellison Technologies their sole distributor in the Midwest earlier this year. "We will continue to develop a wider range of services for our customers, including pre-engineering capabilities, robotic automation services and financing, allowing us to provide solutions beyond those offered by our competitors."
He added that Jackson Machinery has excellent territory history and knowledge. He said it also enjoys excellent customer relationships, many with key players in the territory including Wonder Machine, Timken, Curtis Wright and Lord Corp. to name a few.
