Continental Structural Plastics (CSP) recently broke ground on a new manufacturing plant in Seguin, Texas. CSP and its parent company, Teijin, will invest approximately $70 million to construct the 200,000-square-foot facility, which is being built to support future growth and help the company maintain its competitive advantage.
The plant is expected to be fully operational by 2021 and will result in the creation of 200 production, engineering and administrative jobs. The location will become CSP’s 19th global manufacturing facility and 14th in North America.

CSP selected the Seguin location for its newest manufacturing plant based on a number of factors, including availability of a skilled workforce, proximity to customer facilities in Texas and surrounding states, and a variety of incentives and abatements offered.
