Oshkosh Corp. recently announced that it will establish a new manufacturing facility in Jefferson City, Tennessee. A leading designer and manufacturer of specialty vehicles and vehicle bodies, Oshkosh plans to create more than 300 jobs in Jefferson County over the next three years.

"Oshkosh Corp. is positioned for success in all segments, and this new manufacturing facility will allow us to continue to respond to the demand for increased manufacturing capabilities."
The new plant will house welding and fabrication operations in support of Oshkosh’s multiple segments. The company plans to renovate and occupy the former John Deere building in Jefferson City, and will be installing new machinery and equipment in the coming months. The approximately 500,000-square-foot facility is expected to be operational in 2019.
