Ultrasound World, a forum for ultrasound technology, has been scheduled for May 14-17, 2012, at the Clearwater Hilton in Clearwater Beach, Fla. Entering its eighth year, Ultrasound World has grown into one of the top conferences for reliability and energy conservation. This year’s program will feature presentations and short courses by users of ultrasound technology and will cover a wide range of topics for condition monitoring and energy conservation.

Among the presentations offered include “No More Equipment Failures! Can You Say That?” by Todd Fraser of Procter and Gamble, who will describe how his department dramatically reduced bearing failure incidents using ultrasound technology. The short course “Clean, Green and Reliable” will explain how equipment reliability delivers low-cost, energy-efficient assets at plants around the world. Other important topics, such as effective energy conservation practices and detecting and analyzing electrical fault conditions with ultrasound, will also be covered in the program.

"This conference continues to provide outstanding presentations full of useful content attendees can take away and use in their facilities," says Doug Waetjen of UE Systems. "We strive to create an outstanding learning environment where attendees can network and share their experiences. The fact that the conference has grown over the past eight years and continues to bring visitors from around the globe, many of whom keep returning, is a testament to the quality of the program."
