Farr Air Pollution Control, a leading producer of dust and fume collectors to clean up industrial processes, announced that the company will now operate under the name Camfil Farr Air Pollution Control (APC).
"This name change reflects our company's expansion from a leading North American dust collection manufacturer to an international player," said company president Lee Morgan.
Camfil Farr APC is a subsidiary of Camfil Farr, the world's largest air filter manufacturer.
"The dust collection business unit has merged two well-known and respected names – Farr APC in North America and Camfil Farr in the rest of the world – to create a single identity that will have global recognition," said Morgan.
Camfil Farr APC is headquartered in Jonesboro, Ark., and has ISO 9001 certified factories in Manchester, England; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and Levice, Slovakia.
