Black belts deliver major savings for SPX and HUSCO
Eliminating process variations can translate into significant savings. In recent weeks, Carlos Diaz, commercial engineering manager from SPX Hydraulic Technologies in Rockford, Ill., and Matthew Pellmann, design engineer at HUSCO International in Waukesha, Wis., completed their certification requirements for Six Sigma black belt and in the process saved their companies in excess of $800,000 in annual savings.
