MicroMain Corporation, a leading provider of asset and facility management software and services, on December 2 announced that it had completed the acquisition of Aleier intellectual property, including all software and associated documentation. Aleier Inc. is a subsidiary of wireless communications leader RF Monolithics Inc.

Aleier, formerly Caver-Morehead, provided enterprise asset management (EAM)/computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) applications for more than a decade to municipal, state, and federal government agencies and businesses. The software applications include maintenance management; fixed asset tracking; inventory; and scheduling with “machine-to-machine” connectivity for building automation, equipment monitoring and energy management.

The flagship applications – Aleier FM1j interprise and Aleier FM1i INNOVUS – handle the complex structures of large enterprises, geographically dispersed operations and multi-layered organizational structures. These Web-architected applications enable users to access all capabilities of the application from any Internet-connected personal computer with a Web browser.

In addition to these two applications, MicroMain has acquired Aleier’s software EZ Workorder for managing work orders using portable computing devices.

“The acquisition of Aleier software gives us the opportunity to expand our solutions for customers worldwide,” said Pat Conroy, president of MicroMain.
