Compdata introduces new survey for manufacturers

RP news wires, Noria Corporation

In 2009, Compdata Surveys is offering a new survey designed for organizations in manufacturing and distribution. Now, organizations across the country can access industry-specific data from Compdata Surveys. The Compensation Data Manufacturing survey will cover comprehensive pay and benefit information, along with salary data for more than 100 industry-specific job titles.

Breakouts by local geographic area, state, region, revenue and company size are included for each job. The results include data unique to manufacturers, such as safety incentives, ISO 9000 certificates and lean manufacturing. Compensation Data Manufacturing also features over 200 benchmark positions with an “All Other Industries” breakout to allow cross-industry comparisons.

The addition of Compensation Data Manufacturing is one part of Compdata Surveys’ shift to industry-specific results. Surveys are also available in the following areas: Banking & Finance, Healthcare, Hospitality, Insurance, Not-For-Profit, Services and Utilities. These will replace the current, cross-industry and state-specific results in 2009.

After restructuring their results for 2009, Compdata Surveys decided to introduce an additional online format for their customers. The Online Custom Edition offers query capabilities allowing users to define their market as they see it. The printed results will remain a format option, along with the Online Basic Edition, which uses predetermined criteria sets.

Organizations can also choose to access the new BenchmarkPro database, a cross-industry reference featuring pay practices information and salary data for more than 200 staff positions. With each set of regional results, organizations can compare pay by industry, region, state, local geographic area, revenue and company size.
