Baldor representative discusses new motor efficiency requirements

At the 2010 International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago, Baldor Electric product manager George Weihrauch talks about the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 and what the new motor efficiency requirements mean to the end-user. EISA, which was signed into law in 2007, becomes effective on December 19, 2010. This law expands the mandated energy efficiency standards from the Energy Policy Act of 1992 (EPAct) for a wider range industrial motors which are manufactured for sale in the United States.
