Yale Materials Handling Corp. has been selected for the fourth consecutive year as one of Inbound Logistics' 75 Green Supply Chain Partners (G75). Yale was chosen for its leadership in sustainable material handling equipment that increases the efficiency of the supply chain as well as for its internal sustainability efforts.

"The 75 Green Supply Chain Partners is a very select group, and Inbound Logistics is proud to honor Yale as one of these industry-changing leaders – those truly 'walking the walk' when it comes to supply chain sustainability," stated Felecia Stratton, editor for Inbound Logistics. "The G75 list represents 75 visionaries who demonstrate a long-standing history of driving efficiencies in their customers' operations and an internal commitment to be as lean and green as possible."

The G75 highlights sustainability leaders in the logistics and transportation sector. The selection process considers a company's involvement in three areas: participation in public-private partnerships, corporate sustainability initiatives and collaborative customer-driven projects. Within this context, four benchmarks carry weight in the decision-making: measurable green results, sustainability innovation, continuous improvement and industry recognition.

"Over the past few years, Yale has received numerous sustainability awards, which further confirms our commitment to sustainable operations through improved efficiency," said Brett Schemerhorn, vice president of marketing for Yale. "We believe that being a leader in the 21st century means being efficient. So that's what our customers receive from us – efficient solutions to meet their material handling challenges, designed and manufactured by a company that continually pursues improving efficiency and reducing waste in its own operations."
