Shiloh Industries to build manufacturing facility in Kentucky

Shiloh Industries Inc. on November 4 announced the conclusion of negotiations to acquire land and building for a new manufacturing facility in Bowling Green, Ky. The facility, which will supply first operation precision blanks and other complimentary products, is expected to be operational by April 1, 2011, and will supply 100 percent of the blanking needs of a major customer in the area. The initial investment includes 15 acres and a 81,000-square-foot building that allows for further expansion as the business grows.

Theodore K. Zampetis, president and CEO of Shiloh, stated, "This investment is the result of a partnership of Shiloh with economic development organizations at the state and local levels and with our customers. The move into this area of the country provides the company with the foundation to optimize our footprint and expand our business development with existing and new customers in the region."
