Texas Instruments (TI) released its fourth annual corporate citizenship report (CCR) on June 10, detailing the company's 2009 social responsibility and environmental performance and goals. The complete report, "Building a Better Future," underscores the company's continued commitment to stellar citizenship and transparency in operations. It is available online at www.ti.com/ccr.
"At TI, we believe that how we conduct our business is just as important as the next technology breakthrough," said Rich Templeton, TI's chairman, president and CEO.
A companion to TI's 2009 Annual Report of financial performance, the Web-based citizenship report is used by a variety of stakeholders, including customers, analysts and shareholders, to understand TI's social and environmental performance as well as future risks and opportunities.

The report addresses six key areas of TI's operations:

Launching with this year's report for the first time is a dynamic citizenship Web site (www.ti.com/citizenship). The site is updated as new initiatives launch or exciting developments happen.
TI's stakeholders can share feedback through e-mail and social media and stay up-to-date through the citizenship Web site. This level of transparency in operations and continued commitment to social and environmental stewardship is integral in an increasingly competitive business environment.
"We report our results to show TI's commitment to doing what's right, learn from our challenges and inspire innovative solutions," said Cunningham. "We value the feedback we receive because it often provides ideas for our continuous improvement."
