Kansas manufacturer implementing $4.8M lean program

Employees of SPX Cooling Technologies in Overland Park, Kan., recently began participating in a $4.8 million lean training program.

SPX will spend about $3 million on the training project, to match $1.5 million from the Investments in Major Projects and Comprehensive Training (IMPACT) program at the Kansas Department of Commerce, and $289,000 from Johnson County Community College.
