Custom stainless equipment manufacturer Titan Stainless recently announced that it will build a new manufacturing facility in Pageland, South Carolina. The $2.6-million investment is expected to create 50 new jobs over the next five years.

The new plant will allow Titan Stainless to meet increased customer demand. Construction of the 50,000-square-foot facility is expected to be completed in late 2015.

"We at Titan Stainless are very excited about our move to Pageland, South Carolina," said Titan Stainless president Dillon Melton. "The foresight of the state and local governments in South Carolina has created a business-friendly atmosphere that allows for job creation. This benefits all South Carolinians. We are proud to call South Carolina home."

Established in 2013 in Waxhaw, North Carolina, Titan Stainless offers an extensive product portfolio featuring cabinets, dish tables, floor troughs, sinks, work tables and more. Primarily serving the food-service and healthcare industries, the company only operates with National Sanitation Foundation-approved equipment. In addition to the design and manufacturing of its products, Titan also provides professional installation services.

"We're excited to welcome Titan Stainless to South Carolina's growing manufacturing industry," said Gov. Nikki Haley. "This $2.6-million investment and the 50 new jobs it will create truly will make a difference in Chesterfield County, and we look forward to watching the positive impact Titan Stainless will have on the local community."
