L.B. Foster Company recently completed the relocation of its Threaded Products water well group from Houston to a new facility in Magnolia, Texas. The move expands the company’s ability to supply agricultural, municipal and industrial customers with tubular products.

The new Magnolia plant, which totals 40 acres and accommodates product storage and future growth, utilizes advanced technology and has extended operating hours to increase production capacity. The company has moved its team to the new site north of Houston and will be hiring new employees.

"The new facility provides our production team with single-flow manufacturing that expedites the movement of pipe through our threading process," said Merry Brumbaugh, vice president of L.B. Foster Tubular Products.

The new facility is strategically located adjacent to L.B. Foster's joint venture operation, LB Pipe & Coupling Products LLC.

"It will now allow us to coordinate product inflow and outflow more efficiently with LB Pipe to assure our customers receive timely orders of column pipe," said Gary Foerster, general sales manager for L.B. Foster Tubular Products.

L.B. Foster had supplied customers with water well products for more than 30 years from its original plant in Houston, but the facility became outdated because of zoning restrictions and growth limitations. For more information, visit www.lbfoster.com.
