Getting a motor off to a healthy start is critical to achieve the design life expectancy of the motor. A good quality control program is necessary to ensure this healthy start. Quality control includes verification of the motor manufacturing or repair as well as the power circuit and power quality of the application the motor is going to be installed in. Additionally a motor coming out of a warehouse should be re-inspected for degradation.
